HUNT partner with Bianchi Dama for 2020

We're stoked to announce the first of a series of new team partnerships for 2020; the Bianchi Dama womens' road team based out of Exeter. Having grown out of Exeter University's performance program in 2015, the team has developed into one of the best female teams in the UK. They compete nationally and internationally in road, time trial and track events, and, in their words, are "always looking to better ourselves in everything we do and continue to enjoy this wonderful, mad yet engrossing sport."
The Year of Power

The Year of Power

Well, 18 months really, but that doesn’t have the same ring to it does it. In my last thrilling tale I had slowly worked my way up to being a master of Zwift, and contracted a rather worrying addiction to online racing. All this despite the continual hindrance of a nagging cardiac problem that means my heart rate is incredibly slow to rise when exercising and max’s out at just above 100. I left you all with the cliffhanger of whether I was a “Virtual Contender” who had discovered the secret to immense online power, or merely an “Actual Idiot” living the lie of estimated power and secretly despised by all the real virtual athletes around me…. Let’s find out the answer to this, and many more irrelevant questions in my “Year of Power”

Reader's Ride | Shauna Coxsey's Cotic Escapade

Described by the gang over at Cotic as "Britain's most successful climber, future Olympic athlete and all round top person", Shauna Coxsey is the latest lady onboard their ambassador program, and we're stoked to be a part of it in some small way.

A Tough & Muddy Day at Ardingly...

This weekend, we were back in the action with Gosse for the fourth round of this year's National Trophy season, just half an hour drive away at our 'local' race at the South of England showground in Ardingly. With Ian Field just 16 points ahead of Gosse in the overall standings, it was to be a pivotal race in the chase for the series....

HUNT at the Tour of Britain 2019

HUNT at the Tour of Britain 2019

Another Tour of Britain done, and another Eisberg Intermediate Sprints jersey in the bag. What an epic ride it was by Rory Townsend to fend off competition from both World Tour & Pro Conti riders, in a week that saw him put world class sprinters away (such as a Matteo Trentin).

We were lucky enough to be on the road for the duration of the race, and were once more reminded of the fact that Canyon dhb are nothing like other race teams...

Bikes of Further

Bikes of Further

Further is an intriguing event in terms of equipment. The race route around the Pyrenees is based around a series of 'sectors' which must be completed in chronological order, however the riders must plan the best route between each sector.

We took a look at some of the bikes of Further to see what riders thought was the fastest option...

Brighton Big Dog 2019 | 6 of the most painful and brilliant hours of our year

Brighton Big Dog 2019 | 6 of the most painful and brilliant hours of our year

Start of August is a privotal point of the summer. Not only is the start of the end of summer but it is also time for 2 awesome cycling events, first being Ardrock (lets not talk about that one) and Brighton Big Dog.

The Big Dog is a Local 6 hour XC race based in Brighton's Stanmer Park, just on the outskirts of the city. Being based just outside Brighton and with a large amount of our staff living in the thriving city, it is always a big talking point in the office with a large amount of our team taking part or coming to watch.

Mind The Gap | Hitting The Whistler Train Gap

Our Graphic Designer Dom has been off travelling the world and is currently situated in Whistler for the rest of the summer season putting his DH Privateer wheels through some abuse. Before returning to the lot less gnarly UK.

Whilst being in the Mountain Bike Mecca there are a lot of things that he wanted to do one of those being the Iconic Whistler Train Gap, Here is his account of pulling up.

BOMBTRACK GROUNDWORK 2019

BOMBTRACK GROUNDWORK 2019

We were stoked when Bombtrack invited us along for the 2019 edition of their Groundwork event; a few days in the forests of Kürten in Western Germany with key media, team/sponsored riders, distrobutor staff and even a couple of lucky connected brands (including us!).

Usually around 40-50 of the "Bombtrack family" go along each year, and we sent Ollie to get the scoop on the 2020 range and suffer in the dirt...
