The MASON x HUNT relationship is one which regularly features in the HUNT Journal. It is a relationship borne from the foundation of shared values. With a total of three wheelsets paying homage to a relationship built on similar values, we think it worth delving into how MASON x HUNT came to be.

This year the staple to Dom’s line up received a bit of a make-over. The bike now includes all of the latest technology to keep up with Mason’s “Make Progress” mantra.

The advent of 650B/27.5" has transformed how we see adventure bikes. Rivalling cyclocross bikes for efficiency, and cross-country mountain bikes for versatility, this wheel size speaks beyond their smaller size. Sam is our very first OpenDev member from Australia. Having caught our attention for his 5.5w/kg output and being the head coach at @Velo.Goals, the Melbournian spends a lot of time on the bike and helping others do the same. This season, Sam has already competed in the Aussie Nationals after returning from a winter spent in Thailand (Yes, you read that correct – even the Aussies escape their own winter!).

Many moons ago, bikes were simple in their appearance often only with their maker's name adorning the downtube and maybe a stripe or two. And OpenDev rider Sam McCallum's ride is no different - but that is where a homage to the past stops for Sam's Neil Pryde Bura SL. 

The Adventure Syndicate is the latest group to be supported by Hunt Bike Wheels. A collection of likeminded individuals, the all female riding crew places a big emphasis on riding long distances in the toughest conditions.
