THE CASSETTE MIX #5: Turbo Tim
Tim Knowles is not known by the Hunt team in the UK, but is a good friend of Hamish's (our Australian Product Communications guy). After spending years heading one for the best independent grocers imaginable, Tim now spends his time working away at a local bike store. We asked Tim if he could put together five songs he is currently listening to on his daily commute.
READER'S RIDE | Soma Wolverine
San Fransisco based, Soma Fabrications, get it right. The Wolverine crossed our paths when at Eurobike this year. It was certainly an eye catcher with those bars! Set up with SuperDura Dynamo Disc wheels, we finally managed to get our hands on a few professionally shot photos from the kind people over at Traffic Distribution (Soma's German distributor).
READER'S RIDE | Hank's Canyon Inflite
Some bikes are straight-up head-turners. Ones that catch the eye for being a little more left-of-centre seemingly send the cycling word into a frenzy. When the Canyon Inflite was released, it was instantly a hot topic here at Hunt. Some liked it, some didn't and now some have grown to like it. But one thing is for certain - it's different!
THE CASSETTE #4: STRAIGHT JACK
There is no secret that our customer service lead Jack's music taste extends beyond others. A fan of punk and hardcore where tracks are short, fast and loud, you won't find too much faff here!
THE CASSETTE #3: THE MORVELO MIX
Morvelo have been keeping it real with some of the best quality threads in the game. Starting out as a few tee-shirts had for a bunch of close friends, the Sussex-based cycling clothing team has gone from strength to strength. Providing kit to suit all tastes, riding styles and conditions, the fiercely independent mob is one we are glad to call our friends!
READER'S RIDE: Ollie's Cannondale CAAD7
The man of many bikes has once again casually slipped this number into the Reader's Ride segment. Brand Manager for Road & CX, Ollie Gray, has recently turned his beloved Cannondale CAAD7 into "winter-smashing mode".
READER'S RIDE: Bombtrack's Audax
Bombtrack bikes are cool. There we said it. Not one to follow the pack and come out with bikes which are high on the fun factor. This new build from Bombtrack might be exactly what you need to compliment long days spent exploring anything which comes your way.
ON THE DROPS INTERVIEW: Hamish Paine
We haven’t seen much of Hamish over the past two years… mostly due to him being located down under in Wollongong, Australia.
Having worked in a bicycle store since he was 14 after lying about his age to get a start on the wrenches, Hamish now handles media enquiries with us at Hunt, pieces together our weekly Hunt Journal and is the creator of our On The Drops Interviews.
THE CASSETTE #2: Churning Gravel
This time round we have called upon OpenDev rider Rob Harwood to show us some tracks which keep him going on a long gravel ride.
READER'S RIDE: Max's Canyon Training Bike

THE CASSETTE #1: Brighton Funk
Presenting THE CASSETTE #1: An exploration into the the sounds the people who make up Hunt are listening to. Shift up and spin this one out.
READERS RIDE: Dan Pullen's Storck T.I.X.
There are bikes, and then there are Storcks... no matter your flavour, the German manufacturer knows how to make a head-turner. This particular one belongs to Dan Pullen, who we interviewed in On The Drops just last week. After coming back from its maiden voyage (less than 24 hours since the time of writing) we thought it only fitting to feature it in this week's reader's ride - oh and did we mention it is a Storck!?
